WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ESPECIALLY IN SOUTH PARK...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Today will be dry and warmer, with breezy conditions over the mountains. Low humidities will produce increased fire danger in areas where the grasses are drying out. Mountain streams will remain high, but the runoff has peaked in many locations.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  There will be elevated fire weather conditions across much of the area on Thursday and critical fire weather conditions may develop over South Park. Elevated fire weather conditions may continue across the eastern plains Friday through the weekend. The heat will return with the hottest day being Friday. High temperatures in the mid to upper 90s are likely across the plains. Areas near Julesburg and Holyoke will see highs in the 100s Friday through the weekend.  Subtropical moisture will entire Colorado starting on Friday. This will lead to a threat of burn area flash flooding Friday through Monday. The days with the highest chance of flooding will likely be Saturday and Sunday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
