WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Elevated fire conditions will be in place this afternoon due to hot temperatures and low humidity. There will also be isolated to widely scattered high based showers and storms from mid afternoon into the evening. This activity is expected produce wind gusts to 50 to 60 mph in a few areas with little to no rainfall.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  It will be hot through much of the period with the exception of Tuesday and Wednesday. The hottest day will be Monday as plenty of locations across the plains could reach 100 degrees. On Sunday, isolated afternoon thunderstorms will develop with strong wind gusts up to 55 mph possible. Some of the storms could be severe with damaging wind gusts and large hail across the far northeast corner of Colorado. Elevated fire weather conditons are expected through the period with Monday, having critical to extremely critical fire weather conditions due to hot, dry, and windy weather.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
