YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Strong to potentially severe thunderstorms will remain possible through about midnight MDT (1 AM CDT) east of the Colorado Kansas border. The primary hazards will be hail up to the size of ping pong balls and wind gusts to 60 mph. A tornado threat remains as well.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Expect hot temperatures to return on Sunday and Monday. Expect afternoon high temperatures mainly in the upper 90s to lower 100s.  Isolated thunderstorms will be possible Sunday night, and scattered thunderstorms Tuesday night.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated. We would appreciate reports of severe weather via telephone and social media.
