YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible along and north of Highway 36 from Yuma County Colorado through Norton County Kansas. Large hail and damaging winds are the primary hazards.  Near critical fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon along and south of Interstate 70. Localized areas along and south of Highway 40 through Logan County Kansas may see an hour or two of critical fire weather conditions.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for late Monday morning through Monday evening for Cheyenne County Colorado.  A potential for an isolated severe thunderstorm exists Monday afternoon along and north of Highway 34 from Trenton, Nebraska through Indianola, Nebraska.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be required this afternoon if severe storms are able to develop.
