WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Snow associated with a late season storm will gradually decrease from north to south across the region this morning. Bands of heavier snowfall are still possible, primarily south of the Interstate 70 corridor. This afternoon, a mix of scattered rain and snow showers can be expected along with an isolated thunderstorm or two.  Tree damage and possible power outages will continue to be an issue through midday. In addition, freezing temperature will also pose a threat to vegetation this morning and later this evening.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  Our region will trend cooler through mid next week thus below normal temperatures are expected. Multiple rounds of widespread scattered showers are possible through Wednesday afternoon. Areas above 9500 ft will receive light snowfall mainly Sunday and Monday evenings. Areas below 9500ft should expect mostly rain showers with isolated thunderstorms producing small hail and gusty winds. By Thursday, our region will begin to warm up to near normal temperatures.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotters are encouraged to send snowfall reports.
