YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Southwestern Nebraska and Yuma counties as relative humidity drops into the mid teens and winds gust to 35 mph this afternoon. The entire Tri-State area will see a wind shift during the morning and early afternoon hours as a cold front moves through. Extra caution should be used if burning today as fires could change behavior rapidly.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  Tuesday afternoon, critical fire weather conditions are expected for far Eastern Colorado.  Wednesday afternoon, elevated to near-critical fire weather conditions are expected for the entire Tri-State area.  Friday afternoon, near-critical to critical fire weather conditions are expected for the entire Tri-State area. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
