YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Red Flag Warning remains in effect for the entire Tri State area for the late morning to early evening timeframe.  A High Wind Warning is in effect for areas along and south of the Interstate, as well as counties in Kansas along Highway 36. Gusts up to 60 mph are possible.  Areas of blowing dust are possible today as well. This will impact area travel as visibility could drop to a mile or less at times.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  A Fire Weather Watch is in effect for the late morning to early evening hours Wednesday. This is for all areas except, Yuma and Kit Carson counties in Colorado, Cheyenne county in Kansas and Dundy county in Nebraska.  Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are possible for the afternoon hours on Friday into the upcoming weekend.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
