This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwestern
South Dakota…south central South Dakota…southwestern South
Dakota…and the Black Hills of South Dakota.
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight
Storm system will exit the region today, with snowfall gradually
tapering off and ending late this morning and afternoon.
Additional accumulations of up to an inch or two are expected in
most areas today, with 1 to 3 inches along the eastern slopes of
the Black Hills. Gusty southeasterly winds will produce some areas
of blowing and drifting snow, especially across the plains to the
south and east of the Black Hills.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday
A storm system could impact at least parts of the area late next
week. Timing and track are very uncertain at this time, but
accumulating snowfall and gusty winds are possible.
