This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Scattered thunderstorms and showers are possible this afternoon. Severe thunderstorms are likely this evening mainly east of the I-25 corridor. Storms may produce tennis ball sized hail (2.5), wind gusts up to 65 mph, and an isolated brief tornado. There will be a limited threat of flash flooding across the Cameron Peak burn area today. Areas across the plains could experience storms through midnight tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Wednesday will be dry. Afternoon and evening thunderstorm chances will return Thursday and Friday with storm coverage staying isolated. Better monsoonal moisture will arrive this weekend which will increase storm coverage and strength. The flash flood threat for recent burn areas will be increasing this upcoming weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation may be required east of the I-25 corridor this evening.
