WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered showers and thunderstorms will occur over the higher terrain and Palmer Divide this afternoon. A few wind gusts from 50 to 60 mph will be possible. Over the Palmer Divide an isolated severe storm with marginal large hail is possible.  The threat of flash flooding will remain limited in the burn scars.  For tonight, scattered thunderstorms may develop over portions of the plains this evening with an isolated marginal severe storm possible.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  Diurnal afternoon thunderstorms and showers are possible Monday and Tuesday. Storms will likely decrease in coverage crossing the foothills to the lower elevations. A few storms may become severe east of the I-25 corridor across the plains producing hail and strong wind gusts up to 50-60 mph both Monday and Tuesday. Drier conditions are expected Wednesday. Another round of scattered to isolated showers and storms begins each afternoon starting Thursday through next weekend.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
